well... whoda thought

We made it for three years. As most of you know, it has been a very full three years. I was thinking, "we've never celebrated an anniversary without children." and I wouldn't change it for anything. Tuesday night, we had a very nice little date with just the two of us while Grandma and Grandpa babysat for us. We went to Jimmy's and got a chicago style deep dish pizza!!! Delicious! And, that meant I didn't have to cook the next night either! God has blessed me with an amazing husband who has also turned out to be an incredible father.I'd love to post a picture of the two of us, but there are none. That's what happens when you have babies right away!

So, here's to us!!

SeTH iS TwO

You can't believe it? ...I can't believe it! He had such a fun day for his birthday! Thanks Nana and Papa. My roommate from NC visited for the week, so it was great for her, Melissa, to be able to celebrate with us. In the afternoon, we went to Chuck E. Cheese for around 4 hours. Daddy made it extra special by taking a little time off of work to join us (not the full 4 hours, just in case Shad reads our blog). Later, when Daddy got off work, he brought home some Corky's BBQ, and we ended the evening with a visit to Toys R Us. This is all in addition to celebrating on the 4th with the Fullertons, and on the 4th with the Barleys.

He decided that blowing out candles is his favorite part of his birthday. In the background you can see his new booster seat from Nana and Papa. It also came with a step stool that we use to climb into the booster "all by myself."

He also got this super awesome water bottle that he is doing such a great job of sharing!

Grandma and Grandpa gave Seth a bat and ball, so we spent the rest of the evening in the backyard practicing.

Finally, thanks to everyone that sent or gave Seth money. We bought him this door and latch puzzle that is right up his alley. Look, he's still! He will also be getting a sketch pad b/c he loves to color!

Thanks for all of the other gifts given also, the books, the toys and the clothes. All are greatly appreciated and well used!
