I don't know about y'all, but this whole "best interest of the child" thing seems like it could get out of hand quickly. I understand that some parents are terrible at their job, but where will the government draw the line??
If you haven't heard about the Illinois Mom, go to the following link. All I can think is, "It could have easily been me." I am not an irresponsible parent (most of the time), and I have Seth and Leah's best interest at heart. But... would a prosecutor agree?

As you can see... My index finger is healing (but still disgusting). I'm grateful though, b/c we are down to just a little band aide!! So, b/c I was almost back to normal, I decided that I should fix Daddy's file cabinet so that I could slice my pinkie finger open. (Does momnesia include constant injuries?) I think I'm going for carpal tunnel now as I try to type with a baby and 2 bandaged fingers. Seriously, I'm not complaining. I love my life. I just think its funny.
So, in short, we're staying at Mom & Dad's while they're in Isreal, Seth is sick and Leah a little, I am maimed, Pixie is depressed and can't even get out of bed (Pixie is my Dad's dog), and Nathan-who hates the cold-is running around outside so he can get pics of Seth playing in the snow !!

ONE WEEK EARLY
It was quite an exciting event!! Leah Noelle made her debut one week earlier than "planned." We left for the hospital at 2 in the morning Monday and she joined us by noon. Nathan delivered Leah from the neck up, and then the nurse made it in (barely) to take care of the rest of her. Obviously, the delivery went very quickly and eventually, even a doctor made it into the room! Seth is a very good big brother and we are all doing very well so far.
I'll post more pics of her when I get a chance to get over to my parent's house!
Love to All!

God is Good
Here's the not understanding until much later part: Nathans new boss, Shad, made a comment that they only want to hire people with at least 1 year sales experience. Nathan worked as a "lightly" used car salesman for 15 months. This company seems so far like a great company and my husband actually came home excited after a long days work last night.

Blog only at naptime...

There is never a shortage of things to do at Nana and Papa's! Now, I realize that I only have one child, but as I sat cleaning up the many, many Crispy Oats, I thanked God that I had the priviledge of being home with my baby boy and cleaning up his post lunch snack.
