During our first full day in Branson, we took the kids to the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery.
The domes are covering all of the little "fish pools," and each pool has different size/age bass in them. You can see the huge dam in the background. One of the local people was telling me that last year during the flooding most of this was underwater and you could watch the waves crest over the the top of the dam. PRETTY INTIMIDATING! The "dam people" knew exactly how much water to let out when necessary to keep the devastation to a minimum.
He got excited like this every single time! Leah thought it was pretty cool too, but kept it down to a low-key ooh and ahh with the occasional yelp!
As you can tell from MY HAIR! it was quite a muggy day. So, we headed back to the hotel for a friendly round of golf.
She let's all of the GOOD golfers ride!
Are you seeing this?? He has 2 children and a club in his way, but he is still lining up his shot. I have several more similar shots and I just cracked up when we looked through the pictures. He is seriously (this is not posed) getting ready to golf! He didn't get to ride Nessie.
